Are you saying that Americaland actually made a small car?

Although it wouldn't surprise me if you cropped out the 12ft long hood containing a 27 liter engine.

Americaland made a compact car... yes.

The Corbin Sparrow idea is very close, but the car I'm making reference to has four wheels.

It's a 1958 Buick Riviera, and there's no chance in hell I'm wrong.

Actually, the Buick's model name is Limited. Riviera was an addition, describing the car having a hardtop body (no "B" posts between doors). Limited was one-year only model to commemorate the Golden Anniversary of GM. Therefore, "regular production" models like Special or Century could also be Rivieras, if not sedans but hardtops.

I think it's Sebring-Vanguard instead of Vanguard-Sebring.

Congrats! Upload your picture Mr. Green

Looks like an Oldsmobile Toronado or Buick Riviera GTX/GSX.
