Ok I'm working on a special project and don't want to give out to much info.But i was wondering.
you can convert .tex to .tga and edit them but do you need to convert them back for it to work?

So SF will just use the tga's instead of the .tex?

Last time i did any TEX to TGA modding they wouldnt work again until it was converted back to TEX

You can use TGA, but at an angle, it will fade and look fuzzy.

Well if your making something that will replace the original textures of SF, like Shader Mod 2, then they will need to be tex format.

On cars it isn't a problem, but on things like roads, and grass it can be. Wink
