Post subject: Fender parts plus exhausts in-game ? Reply with quote

Hi everyone.

I've a problem with a car in-game, fenders objects works and are visible as usual but when I add two exhaust objects, fenders are only visible from MM2CTK and the car selection, not in-game. No problem with only exhausts or only fenders btw. Dunno why these fenders are hidden by the exhausts (double exhausts are on the back of sides).

I tried by putting some (useless) *.dgBangerData, I made the H & L objects for each one (FNDR0, FNDR1, EXHAUST0 & EXHAUST1) and ... by rotating the exhaust surfaces because they was parallel to the fender objects previously. No change. I tried by having an only exhaust objet too. Reoriented or not don't change anything.

So IMO exhausts are still visible, only fenders are invisible when we're playing Neutral

If you know a car with these features (I mean fenders plus exhausting), please let me know.

Hmm very interesting. Try testing this out on a box car test object to see if its a poly issue or an actual bug in the game.

I made basic wheels (as cylinders), copy the BOUND and renamed as BODY_H, scale a bit the real fender objects (calipers only) and tried different positions for the exhaust surface (EXHAUST0_H:m only ; from the top, left and back views). No change. I guess than we can't have fender parts with exhausts.

I know this is a bit old, but I accidentally managed to get both working at once Razz

What I did:
- Exported vehicle with fender and exhaust parts.
- Noticed fenders didnt show up in game, used search, came to this topic.
- Deleted exhaust objects from the model (didnt delete the mtx and banger files)
- Went in game, and they were both happily visible Smile

Try it out and let me know if it works for you, too Wink

You guys spam too much(the bus people). Stop posting these stupid useless replies. This is not how a forum should and is why most mm2 people never go here anymore. Now stop spamming and act your age.

You say that as if it is all of us that spam constantly, when actually it is a small minority.

That's because all of you do spam constantly. Have any posts by "the bus people" in this topic been remotely related to Riva's question, or the solution?

none They all act like noobs who never went into a forum. Sad And when a bus guy posts their project, they spam it up by quoting 1000 times and spamming with useless posts. This is not how a forum should be. Go to your own bus site/forum. Not here.

I agree with b12man and carking, the bus community spams far too much. Almost every topic gets spammed anymore. I can think up a few people who really need to be banned...
Anyway, this topic should be locked now. It is going nowhere, and the issue is solved.
