I seem to be having a problem with WMP. When I listen to music files, they don't seem to play smoothly. They have quick pauses in them. The exact same files run smoothly on other pcs with the same OS on. I have Windows 7 Ultimate, and an Acer 5536. Anybody know what the problem is, of how to fix it?

I know how to fix it. Install a good program for music listening, like foobar2000, or Winamp. Razz

^ No, it's not. You're right. But it should at least work. Shocked Mine has a different problem, once my laptop has been on more than an hour or something, WMP just doesn't start. No error, just nothing, wmplayer.exe process doesn't even start. So I restart my laptop and it's fine...for another hour. This used to be a big problem, but it doesn't seem to do it as much now. Any ideas anyone? I'm not that bothered, I can just restart my PC. Razz

Just use VLC for video, foobar for music. Wink
