Post subject: GTA: SA (PC) + Xbox360 Controller for Windows |
|
|
Got my Xbox controller installed and reconfigured with Xpadder in Windows 7 and want to use it in GTA: SA on the PC.
Does anyone here use GTA: SA and Xbox 360 controller together, along with the Xpadder package?
If so, can you please tell me the optimal configuration for the controller so it will just work with the game.... cheers _________________ "Football is a gentlemen's game played by thugs, Rugby is a thug's game played by gentlemen, American Football however is for wimps" |

Never tried xpadder, but I use SAAC. Much more fun than keyboard
(Thats with steering wheel though, although I believe it can do most controllers) |

having no luck with SAAC.....it appears to run, but doesn't actually appear to do anything.
Windows 7 incompatible maybe? _________________ "Football is a gentlemen's game played by thugs, Rugby is a thug's game played by gentlemen, American Football however is for wimps" |

I used Pinnacle Game Profiler (not free though) for games when I wanted to use my 360 controller. As for settings...well I have no idea of recommended settings. I would think it would be best to mess around with them and get them set to whatever you like best. That is what I did. You probably won't be able to get games like GTA SA perfect though. I remember I could never get GTA III or VC controls exactly the way I wanted.
Of course with xpadder I never messed around with it myself. I couldn't figure it out, so I just used presets. I only remember using it for MW though. _________________ Buni Comic

I couldn't get SAAC to work at first either, but I did some snooping around and managed to get it working. I think I had to download a particular .dll system file that 7 doesn't have and older operating systems had, and put it in the WINDOWS folder. |
