Honestly MM2 is so buggy I don't know if that actually proves that the hardware really makes a difference. I'm sure it would in extreme enough cases, but other than that I'm not so sure. Razz

Then why does the game get laggy on a crappy computer when using a 80k+ poly vehicle?

That has nothing to do with the number of addons Razz

Well duh, I'm talkin about the hardware.

Other than the RAM, I've got better specs than that in my PC and sometimes I can have like 6 vehicles before I get problems, other times I can get probably 20+ if they've got less polygons and smaller textures.

I've got another game that some people with bog standard computers can have a million polys on screen at once fine, but if I do that with way better specs then it crashes.

It depends on the hardware configurations I suppose, not necessarily how high spec the hardware is. I guess it's down to both the addons and hardware configuration. I can't get Shatin City to load without crashing (well I did once but not for long), whilst others with quite crap computers can fine (even with default cars).
