I don't mean any offence, but why that version? Try the Zmod site.

If you want to use the 1.05 version, take the final version or try the 1.07b.

Download the 1.05 final
Download the 1.07b

1.05 has one major advantage over 1.07b, it has no exporting/importing problems. I also heard it can handle more polys than 1.07b. Mine slows down after 9k.

The version 1.05 final should be the 1.05c.

With the 1.05 version I don't have any .pkg files importing problems, while with the 1.07b it crashes often (probably inporting the files exported with the Zmodeler 1.05 PKG filter). I don't have exporting problems with it, especially using the Maxoff's PKG filter.
I've got some problems of too heavy .z3d file to manage with the 1.07, needing more memory. Most times this happens when the model is high poly, but it happens also with medium poly models.

IMO the only ZM 1.05 advantages are : you can without any problem import *.pkg files and you don't need to center each axis (especially for the wheels).

If I remember well Oleg released other 1.05 versions before the final, in order ... 1.05c, 1.05d, 1.05e, 1.06a, 1.05 final, 1.06b ... 1.06f, 1.07a, 1.07b and finally the first 2.0x version.

Is it possible to install more than one version on the same pc? I heard 2.0 has more tools like chamfer and extrude. It could definitely speed up modeling. But for some reason I like 1.07b the best.

yes. Just change the name of the installation folder during setup.
But, you still don't need to use v2

Currently I've 4 versions of ZM, the 1.05 final (to import the original MM2 content), the 1.07 (to model, import, export), the 2.0.7 (to import the GTA SA content) and the latest 2.1x.

Unfortunately the *.exe of the 1.05 and 1.07 are the same so if I edit either the options ... I get the same effect.

ZM1 for the win !

REcently I have been facing problem with 1.07 b version of zmodeler. The program slows down after I load textures for my city.. I don't know why but this version used to work well on my other pc. Plus, my city is low poly so it should not have slowed down .. Have anyone else got the same problem? any solution?
