YOU DON'T LIVE IN NEW-ZEALAND ANYMORE?

and what happend to your starlet?

also: nice ride. Wink
and i see Geoff's GTI in the background of picture 1?

Get with the program, dude, I left New Zealand in June, now living in Canada!

I sold everything I owned and moved, so no more Starlet. Razz

And yes, that's Geof's GTI, at 360hp now, fastest in the city. It's quick.

Holy ****. Force-fed or still natural?

Yes, everything.

GTIs are turbocharged from the factory, dude. The stock turbocharger has been replaced with a K04, however, along with a myriad of other hardware and software changes, apparently it can push 400hp on race gas. It's at stage 3, if that means anything to ya.

Ah really? I guess I should've assumed that since VW loves to use turbos. Especially with it being the GTI. I don't know too much about the volkswagen world Razz

And I thought stages were pretty loosely defined. I would assume stage 3 means there's been a decent amount of internal engine work done, but I don't really know what they mean. Either way, 350-400 is a lot for a small car like that. Must be a fun ride Mr. Green

It is a very fun ride, I've had many, many hours behind the wheel with it. It has the ability to be nice, calm, and sensible. However drop a couple of gears and bury the loud pedal, and you're wrapping the needles within a few seconds. Mr. Green

Not long and it'll be put away for winter.

That sounds like a lot of fun Very Happy

And... my Jeep isn't so driveable anymore. Hit a tree going sideways... My fault for being an idiot though, and damaged no one else's stuff. Except part of their tree. Pretty angry though.

Come on dude... you've been around long enough to know you don't pull up old threads, even when it's slow around here...

Yeah. I know man. Just thought this would be a better one to pull up considering it's on the top of the list and it's a larger one.

It's so slow round here threads never even make it to the bottom of the list. Damn it would take 3 years for that to happen!
