Hello all,
I am working on the Escalade EXT and I got the wire frame done. I am running into problems texturing. I can't seem to get the side textured. I followed Awesys's tutorial, but it still won't work. When I go to move the wire frame to the UV Mapper, I left click and hold down the spacebar and click on a red polygon, but nothing happens. Crying or Very sad The wire polygon does not move to the UV Mapper window. Neither do any other red polygons. If you have any suggestions, it would really help. I can also send you the truck as the ZModeler file. Thanks!

ok...here's a step by step process..just compare...first, make sure you added the texture to the material editor. After you've done that, select the faces you want to texture. Then push the keys "control+A" on your keyboard. Scroll down the list and pick your added texture (near the bottom) then click ok. Then press the spacebar to select SEL, then go to surface/mapping/assing UV and click on one of the faces in the view. Then go to UV Mapper (btw - you might want to have "see-through" checked)

hope this helps
