Hi! I love your tutorial!

There's a problem though. I can't seem to get textures on anything.
I'm using ZModeler, and I copied all the tga files from the tutorial to the _texture folder.

How do I assign textures with ZModeler? I'm stuck typing in random material names, hoping one will work! Please help!

What? No, no, no. You open up the material editor (press the "E" key on your keyboard) and then name the material whatever you want in zmodeler, click on the check box next to Primary Texture, click the Load Map button, click the Add button, go find your texture and click on it, then click the OK button. It will now be loaded into zmodeler. Also I think you need the Type to be glowing.

There are a lot of reasons; I can help you with it. A picture of your track in Zmodeler or whatever modeling program you are using will help.

Make sure that your map is a square or rectangular shape like the default tracks (a circular shape may also work too). If you have a track with one road shooting out from the main part a very long way then that can cause problems. Having a bunch of different roads going everywhere with some parts with no polygons/faces will cause problems also. Textures that are too big or an incorrect size can also cause problems.

Chances are if you post a screenshot of the full zmodeler window with the track, we can help you fix it right away Wink

press the print screen button, then open paint, right click and paste. Save it as a jpeg, and then upload it to www.imageshack.us
Then copy the code for forums (doesn't matter which one) and paste it in your reply Wink

If you have a lot of questions you want to ask, its better to start your own thread instead of invading this tutorial thread.
