You can have as many faces as you want, but the count of the inner vertices
must be equal to the outher vertices of the sidewalks.

No, you don't have to map it yourself, you only need to apply the texture to GROUND_. You can use many different textures for one object. MM2 itself will be the only limiting factor (too many textures for a map could cause heap overrun error).

Yes, as I said, you do have to apply it to the object, or faces/polys of that object which you want to have the texture. But you don't have to do any resizing or modify, MM2City Toolkit takes care of that.

I don't think this topic has been updated since soon after it was originally posted and I seem to remember that the method of adding cops to a map was changed slightly. I can't remember how it is done, but I'm sure if this topic doesn't explain it correctly, you can find it explained correctly elsewhere.

I just looked at this topic and wanted to add this to avoid confusion in the future:

Remember that all the information in this topic is only related to MM2 City Toolkit. The object names that Maxoff described ('GROUND_' etc.) aren't part of the MM2 city geometry files (PSDL). These are only used in the 3DS file so that MM2CT can convert them to PSDL.

I just wondered that sanfransisco has grass(and trees) in middle of the road. Well, does mm2ct has the ability to do that? or does anyone know how to do it? Even the on the highway, how do u add the railing type thing on the high ways and speed up the traffic. I think I have seen midas doing it (not sure though) in psdl (veiwer or editor) but I find that software complicated....

anasbinqamar - Those are the so called 'divided roads' which MM2CT can't do... It's only possible in PSDL Viewer.
