To Burner (and other great modelers out there...), you should seriously think about working for auto-manufacturers, maybe as chief designer or whatever. You are really good. Your talent can help keep trash like the Pontiac lineup (except for the G6 and Grand Prix 06) off the roads. Laughing
But seriously, Pontiac could use your innovative ideas.

LOL! Sorry, I couldn't help myself! The randomness of that comment.

You don't scare me old man. LOL. Yea, anyways, I checked out their site and looks like they already cleaned up their act. They've got some nice looking cars now. I thought I was still in the late 90's - early millenium and that they still had things like the Aztek [snort]. Apologies Pontiac 2008 fans.

Wow. I don't think I could do all that. I find it very hard coming up with original models, hence the reason why the car that started this topic isn't done yet... I figure a few more cars and I'll be ready to come back to it.

Something I made really quick:

1993 Mercury Tracer

Qwerty would be proud Wink

I tried to make it low poly. I wanted this to be quick and fun, before I start another poly monster(by my standards) that I have planned next. It is 8163 for the main model and 808 per wheel. I planned for less than 10k for everything, but went over with 11399.

I found out, cloth interiors are way harder to replicate than leather interiors...

I'm amazed that my textures get so well received.. I think they aren't that good, and my techniques are derived from laziness and lack of photoshop skills more than anything else. You would be disappointed to see what I actually use for my textures... I think anyways.. I've always wanted mine to look like those from game companies, but I can naver get that crisp handdrawn effect they have..

I have tried to make more professional looking textures too, but with no
success, i also can't work with photoshop. Anyways this model looks
excellent for a mid poly ( or i think so ) I like it very much.

That looks awesome! You should release it for MM2, or give it to someone who can do all of the needed stuff. I love that car.

Thanks everyone Smile I am compiling a list of cars I want in MM2, and Ill try to contact a few people to see if they can do the ingame work. I'm a little preoccupied atm with current projects, and sending out several cars to be put into GTA, so it will be a week or two before that materializes. I try to keep focus on as few things as possible at one time or I'll forget to do stuff...

Anyways, My current project, a 1997 Dodge Sidewinder for GTA:

It is still in the early stages right now. It is 4890 polys so far with 1690 per wheel, and expected to be well over 20k for everything when done, since this has a full tilt front end..

And here is a side project also for GTA and other games, a 71 Impala. This is an older model that was created as a custom for no game, I decided to make it a stock model, and I had to cut the hood and trunk out, since those lines werent originally modeled out. Not much work has been done yet, but full interior/engine/bs is planned.
