@Rippance - CentOS has the option of a blank VPS or a VPS with pre-installed cPanel, Apache and MySQL. It's way cheaper if it's blank. Could get zPanel or something as well if a free CP was needed.

Have you ever had experience or known anyone who used LayeredTech.com 's services for VPS hosting?

I don't have any experience with virtual private servers at all. I know a friend highly recommends PowerVPS though.

oh ok....well it's my friend's site...they went with LayeredTech hosting...mostly to escape the charges of have Apache and MySQL installed. We did it ourselves instead so I think we are saving like 28 bucks a month by doing that.
