Post subject: Texture Problems Reply with quote

Hi all

I am currently trying to make a coach for mm2 but when im trying to put textures onto it the whole coach just goes grey, does anyone know the reason for this. I have checked to see if Default Material is set to grey and it is not. Hope someone can help me.

Thanks

First make sure that you have flat shading turned on (Press "Q" on your keyboard).

Select all the faces, right-click the object in the objects list and go to faces>properties. Change the material to the correct one.

I'm guessing you were trying to select the right side faces from the RIGHT viewing window? In that case, in the RIGHT view window, click that corner button and make sure the "See-through" option is unchecked. You can also use the rectangle-selector tool to select the right half of your bus from the TOP view (See-through should be on) and then deselect the unnecessary or extra faces with Select>Single.

Or, if you just want to select every face, go to Select>All and right-click any face.

Just click on the object twice in reassign mode.
With zmod most things work with simply trial and error

Go to faces mode (or press "3" ), select the faces you want to show in UV
mapper, then go to Surface/ Assign Mapping, with SEL pressed, left click on
the left viewport, if you want the left side to be visible in UV mapper, in
top viewport for the top and etc.
