I've finally decided to make a car (suv, in this case). I guess I'm still in the "second phase", according to wil555. Well, this is my first vehicle for MM2, and it's going pretty well. All I have right now is pretty much a wall with holes, but I've got good blueprints and it's working well so far. Please post constructive criticism, I need the help/advice.
Here is what I have so far:

Looking good.

I forgot to mention in my tutorial that you can turn off the grids by clicking on the corner button (found on any window) and checking under background. I don't know about you but I find the grid irritating.

You probably should have posted this in the PYP forum. Razz

Keep it up. Waiting for updates.

Yeah, thanks. I have the smaller grid turned off, but I like the bigger one. Helps me keep stuff aligned Razz
I'm hoping on getting this whole side done tonight, but that'll be about it for the weekend (since I'll be busy). I'll post more progress pics later. Thanks for the comment Smile

Thanks Smile

I'm done for the night, I can't concentrate anymore. Anyway, here is what I've got done tonight:

Edit: If anybody cares, it's at 276 faces right now.

It shouldn't be dead for a while, there are still many active people around here (and other mm2 sites). Hopefully it won't die... at least until I'm tired of it Razz

I said I'd stop but I didn't. I need sleep now, 3:40 AM. I'm definitely done for now.
Side is almost done:

What's your plan, about the unconnected faces? Are you going to make proper doors and full interior for this car?

There's no way I'm doing a full interior for this car. I'm going to have the black lines between the doors and truck, though. I find it looks kind of odd without them.
I'm saving the windows for last, since they're the easiest.
Should I make the spaces thinner? (later, I'm going to fill them in and texture them black).

Actually, in my next tutorial installment, I intend to show how to make 3D doorlines. Its very easy now since the texturing is done. All you need to know is how to break edges.
