Has anybody ever wanted to get to that highway in DC that seems impossible to get at? I decided to look on google, and found this.
When I say take a look at the map, I'm referring to this map.

So you've always seen that line at the bottom of the map and wondered how to get on it (I assume). It's been pissing me off for a while, but after trying this out I was finally able to get on it. You should probably use the Lotus Esprit for this (light, small, fast), and make sure player 2 has a large, heavy vehicle (bus, cement truck, etc). You need to be playing multiplayer or xbox live. When you're going north east-ish on East Basin drive, take your first right into the alleyways. Go to the end (you should see a courtyard and a statue) and get tight in the right corner. Get player #2 to push you through the wall. It took me a while of trying (a good 5 mins) but I got through. Apparantly this is easier on live. Then, once the car is through the wall (forget about player 2), don't go straight for the highway to your right because there is non-solid space between. Instead, go left until you hit a solid wall. Then go as fast as you possibly can towards the highway to jump the gap. You should then be on the highway Smile

There is a video on YouTube of it here. It only shows what to do once you're through the wall.

Good luck and have fun Wink

I'm really wishing I had Live now, it's sooo hard to do in regular split screen...

I'm also wondering if there's a way to get to the place across the small river near Potomac pkwy... (near the top of the map).

I'll sell you my xbox for $25 + shipping Razz
It's kinda fail... gotta tape disc to spinner part to make it spin, otherwise the drive doesnt grip it and it makes death sounds.
Then again, I don't really want to sell it... I still use it occasionally Razz

Lol, make up your mind ! Razz I may buy myself a xbox for mm3. It was one of my ambitions in life to own a xbox (not 360) and play mm3 on it. And the other being to become a bus driver but you know lol Razz And teh map seems decent aswell Smile Thanks for sharing, b12man

I just uploaded a vid to show that it is possible to do in splitscreen without some hax.
Check it out here.
I didn't crop it so you can see how long it actually took, but you can skip to around 8 mins 15 secs to see when it happens, then I cruise around the highway a bit after that.

You can buy another drive from The Llama and replace it, though I can't remember if the hdd key needs to be changed to accompany the new drive .. Damn, my vast knowledge of the Xbox has gone, been so long.

Though I still use my Xbox, on a daily basis, running Xbox Media Center, though an older version, which were the better versions.

Funny, I use my Xbox more than my Xbox 360.

XBMC, interesting...
Is it easy to install on the xbox? and if it's on the xbox, can you play burned games with it? (not only for the obvious reasons, but I have a couple of discs scratched beyond repair).
