Anyone else got/getting it?

I didn't read anything about it intentionally, so I wasn't sure what to expect.

It's not like a traditional add-on pack, more of this and that. Now, you're no longer Niko Bellic, but another character whom goes by the name of Johnny Klebitz.

When you load GTA4, it says that Downloadable Content has been detected and asks if I would like to play that; choose yes, and you play, choose no, you play the GTA4 you're used to.

So far, I've played an hour of it, it runs you through the basics like the start of a game usually does. Seems you're on a motorbike 87% of the time (so far), and you know how many times you fell off those as Niko, they've certainly tweaked the physics some so you're now glued to your seat and the bikes feel a bit more directional with their steering, though they also like drifting, too.

I'm still struggling with the controls after living with Saints Row 2 for the past while.

Still though, it seems nice, and it's good to pick up GTA4 again. Though be warned, The Lost and Damned weighs in at 1.78gb (i've meer megabytes of space left, now), and costs you a charming 1600ms points, or $20 USD.

If they release it for PC I'll get it. They could do, I'm sure it would be a good idea.

I honestly don't see why it was an X360 exclusive. Even PS fans were left out Confused

Maybe they will make it available for PS3 and PC fans soon enough. Also, there is a second DLC package in line, not sure when...but stay tuned I guess Mr. Green

Why anti-Live?

The fact that MS paid $50 million for the deal may have changed Rockstar*s mind. Wink

Not anti-Live - it's just the fact my internet connection comes courtesy of a USB 3G modem with limited download allowance.

Where I live I don't think the landlord would like me putting a landline in.

Hmm I should stop sleeping so much. Embarassed Guess the same applies for the 2nd DLC package. I hope the $50 mill was worth it.

Ah, just the words 'never will' seemed rather strong. Razz

Well, I've finished the missions, just the side activities left to do; races, gang wars, grabbin' bikes for a chop shop, and the like.

It's a very good extention to GTA4 and merges in very well with Nikos missions, and gives you an idea of what else was happening while you were Niko. The credits are awesome too, showing links between Niko & Jonny.

Playing Time: 06:58:10
Missions passed: 23
Mission failed: 0
Times busted: 0
Times died: 0

Muhaha. Razz
