All buses with steps & a bar in the middle. It's a great laugh to see them hags with prams struggling to get on. Shame people have to be in wheelchairs or steps would've been winnage.

Some of our step entrance vehicles (the very little we have left now Sad) don't have a bar in the middle Laughing

Indeed.

I tell you what though. A while ago I was on a emptyish bus. There was one buggy on, but space for another. A woman, seemingly French, definitely foreign though got on with the buggy all folded up prior to boarding. Being a solo, there's little room for folded buggies, but she took it, along with the child, to the back of the bus.

Genius for them; just not us!

Thats just plain stupid Laughing

Another thing I hate is that parents with buggies think the wheelchair space is for buggies so when a wheelchair gets on they don't move Rolling Eyes

Mind the driver turning off the engine and pulling out a newspaper soon sorts that Mr. Green

Stotts of Oldham have some Ex-TWM Metrobuses, and some Ex-Arriva (North west?) - I can tell the difference because the TWM ones have smaller rear windows, Personalised regplates (eg LUI 5801) and a full rolly set blinds.

The Arriva ones have the full sized rear window and have a blindset similar to an old London one.

Personally, both types fail.
