Wow I love X-Plane, after trying to do a mid-air refuel with a Cirrus Vision and getting one of my ailerons ripped off from the jet wash, I thought I'd try again it something a little more bulky, something that wouldn't get thrown about in the wake.

I made it, yay!

Random thread, but there you have it. Anyone else tried X-Plane?

Low res textures are due both to having such settings set this way (onboard graphics, yay!) and the planes that come with X-Plane arn't exactly amazing on textures (though some are, the F-22 is slick).

Some of the third party aircraft are simply insane by the amount of detail and effort they put into the aircraft (or car, boat, etc, Shocked).

Besides, it ain't all about graphics, is it Wink. The physics is what gets me, as well as figuring out autopilot to automate entire flights (my next step is to learn, the FMC). Flying around my country with silly accuracy is nice, too (hey, there's my house!).

I'm pretty sure they meant 7. A high capacity DVD can only hold like 9GB.
