whilst that game looks FANTASTIC and theres some seriously good driving there, i feel somewhat unhappy with the direction the Need For Speed franchise is headed..

back in NFS it was the open road, and if u went over the speed limit the boys in blue would give chase, and them police chases were quite gd, as they were in NFSIII, NFS Road Challenge, NFS Porsche 2000, NFSMW and NFS Carbon, this feature seems to have vanished from the 2 most recent versions, ( pro street and Shift ) Sad

NFS Porsche was amazing, my favourite NFS game by far. I liked Most Wanted and HP2 too. The first Undeground (with tuning parts) was cool but I'm not really fan of that stuff Rolling Eyes However I was a bit disappointed by Carbon, I didn't finish it. Shift looks like a Gran Turismo on PC with some likeness with GRID (graphics) and Juiced 2 (menus) IMO. It's really a nice video game, still arcade but less than the previous NFS but you're right there's only races so no cops.

Is that drift track an attempt at Road America?

I hope you can turn the blurring off, it's nauseating.

The physics look like poos.

*goes back for Forza 3*

Yep, it's well Road America. Blur is disabled when I'm playing but I can't remove it from these pics/videos (taken from replays).

I actually get the same thing with games... It's a game, which means it's not real, so why try to make it as real as possible? I prefer fun :p

i hope FM3 Demo, otherwise i'm screwed...

NFS series lost my interest after Underground 2, i was forced in getting Prostreet, but i kinda liked it... but U2 was the best.

FM3 > NFS shift for me though.
