Ok, so I've just got my new laptop, and I was trying out MM2 on it, all looks well except for the dashboard view which works fine on Vista on my downstairs PC. Any ideas?

I was just remarking my dislike for the smaller solos in general Razz - nothing against the model Wink

My Screen does this - I think its to do with having a wider monitor / screen. But am un-sure on how to fix it.

lmao

Yeah same here, some (but not many) vehicles have widescreen compatible dashboards, but the majority will either look like that or will look like it's just cut off where the black is instead. So you'll be able to see outside from each side of the screen.

Here's a pic to show what I mean:

It only supports the default cars. Wink
Anyway, to fix that, you would need to remake the *_dash.asnode file for that vehicle.

Run your screen in 4:3 mode, you will get black borders at the sides though.

I know this is a bump, but some people may benefit from the solution.

- Start MM2
- Click options
- Click graphics
- Change the resolution to 1024 x 768. (NOT your PC resolution, you can set that at whatever you want. Just change the MM2 one)
- Click done

In dash view, there will no longer be black borders. Smile
Of course, then you won't be running MM2 in widescreen view, but at least you won't have a messed up dash view!

Hope this helped.
