OOPS! Sorry, you do need the TUNE folder. I forgot it also contains the BANGER sub-folder and thats absolutely necessary. Not to mention the .info file. But the rest of the things in the TUNE folder (i.e. CAMERA and VEHICLE sub-folders) arent needed. The game will assign default settings for those. Though the tuning is kinda weird. So its better to add everything.

One time, I tried to make a simple car just to see the bare essentials needed to get a car in game. The car was about 300 polygons, colored with ZM's coloring system and I only had the BOUND, GEOMETRY and TUNE folders. The final .ar file was about 16 KB. Laughing I called it the Minimum Car.

Tune folder needs:

- the .info file
- banger folder (with contents)
- camera folder (with contents)
- vehicle folder (with contents)

If you read the tutorials, you shouldnt have so many questions and you already would have had a car in game by now.

ya maybe. lol

I am have, the wheels down; the whole body; and the lights, in the body.

what I need to do: the shadow; the bound; build the directorys; and fill them with what ever I need.

so I think im going download the car that is in your tut and take the needed files to put in the folders.

I would like to eventually know how to make them myself(info file, ond others).

Easiest way is to take them from a default MM2 car and modify them...a lot.

Why don't you try it out? Trial and error is the best way to learn.

well silent1unknown said he didn't use any texture, except for the texture tool in ZM, so I was hoping he'd tell me what he did. Smile lazy, i known.

Besides, I couldn't do it by trail and error(that just leads to destruction) I am a noob.

Yea, thats one bad thing about the shadow object. If you use ZM coloring system, no matter what color you choose for the shadow, it will appear white in game. So I suggest you use a texture.

I dont think you're serious about making cars for MM2. You havent shown any work and all you're doing is just asking questions a noob shouldnt ask, especially since theres a tutorial out there.

We can help you to make a car, but we cant help you if you dont have the patience to read a tutorial.

Thumbs Up

we all had to learn somewhere, I'm still learning and I've modelled a few buses for the game so far, I've come a long way and still have a long way to go to reach the standards many people here has set. Twisted Evil
