Please can u tell me what is the problem in this:


I showed you this picture because in mm2ct it shows something like this:



I dont know why its not fine. When I import my 3ds file to mm2ct, it says that SW2_ is not equal to CW2_.

What does that mean?

You need same number of crosswalks and sidewalks for each intersection. So if you have 3 crosswalks, you should also have 3 sidewalks.

Yeah, I checked and I have 3 crosswalks and 3 side walks

Check every object seperate, if they are named correctly, or even when
you've detached them, you might've selected a face from a different part.
I've had such problems not long ago.

I had a problem, I fixed it, but still it doesn't work Sad.
I have been making the simple city since 1 year, I used to rename the object wrong, but this time, I have renamed everything correctly and it still doesn't work Sad

When I try to play with that city, my computer crashes badly that it wont even response and then I have to directly turn off the switch.

I made everything correct Smile . but the problem is that when I open the psdl file in mm2ct, the textures were all messed up like for road texture it was iwalk, and for iwalk texture, it was isurf texture, there was no road texture.
I even noticed that the cross walk and side walks have no texture at all, it looked white. here is the pic:

Hmm..messed up textures.
If you have read Maxoff's city tut. , here's a picture of the material editor
in 3ds max. That's the material order you can follow in the ME in Zmod.


The same order you can load the textures and then apply them to those
materials, and then apply to the objects if you havent - to ROAD_(ROADS_)
only rmain, and to ISn_ only isurf. The rest are assigned automatically ingame. But be sure that you loaded every texture to the corresponding
material.

look better than no textures, but A big problem is that my computer got hanged very badly as I told you before. the textures are like this:

rmain - road
rwalk - sidewalk texture
rlow - low res. version of the road texture
isurf - intersection
iwalk - sidewalk
icross - crosswalk

the names of the materials and textures might be different, but the order
is important. Also load the textures in the same order. Check only rmain
and isurf with their textures, the rest is assigned by mm2ct.

What is the difference between iwalk and rwalk?

can you use the names I used for my zmodeler and then order it correctly? it will be really helpful Smile)

iwalk is for the intersection sidewalk texture, rwalk is for the road sidewalk.
