Does anyone know the passwords for any of the MM2 Workshop files? When I try to open them WinZip says they are password protected.

Also, if you don't know them, just simply don't post! Twisted Evil

They should be in the readme files. Read in there.

I have done, but I can't find them as there is absolutely nothing in them that is English.

No. It won't be.

You should be able to make it out if there is the password in there, usually random characters either near the top or bottom.

There are no letters or numbers at all. It is just symbols.

Google Translate is your best friend in this case.

Depending on the symbols, they could in fact be characters for the passwords.

I have tried that, but Google Translate cannot translate Yoruba into English.

Open them in Microsoft Word or something, maybe Wordpad would work also. It can open them in Chinese encoding. It's still Chinese though, but it's easier to work out. The password will be normal characters though, so try whatever you can find in there that isn't Chinese. Often it's just the bus name or part of it.

It should ask you when you open it if it's not English. And it'll select the right one too, you just confirm it. What are you opening it with, Word?

Yes

::EDIT:: Thanks ecw, opening them in Word with Chinese (simplified) encoding helped me find the password! Razz

create a *.txt file and change the default program it opens with. (right click > open with... > choose default program > select from list) Then try & open one of the *.txt files within the *.rar file. Should work
