Post subject: convert ISO to IMG? Reply with quote

Currently testing various OS's on my laptop and have come across an application which puts an IMG file onto USB stick so you can boot from that.

That is the only problem - it takes IMG files, not ISO or other image formats.

Is there a quick, free way to convert the ISO file to an IMG file? I know it is possible to do it the other way....

Couldn't you just make the USB device bootable, and then extract the ISO to it?
