I've chosen to completely redo the ground textures.

Hired a freelance character artist for the final character needed for the cutscene, animation artist to animate the cutscene. And we're almost to the kickstarter.

After a long test run with feedback from users, we are finally releasing the first version of our demo.

The demo contains two levels, showing some of the upcoming mechanics of Arrow, along with the cut scene introduction. Extensive testing has allowed us to make changes that we never thought we would make, but we have made them for the better.

Please note that this demo will be updated frequently and changes will be made if we see fit.

Visit here to download the demo!

We are also having fun at the Ohio Game Developer Expo! We've been getting invaluable feedback from players that we've been using to create a better demo.  We have also been removing various bugs.  Finally, we have been playing with various Oculus Rift booths here, and are considering supporting the Oculus Rift one day in Arrow!

Early this week, we plan on updating the released demo for Arrow after modifying it using suggestions from other players here at the convention. People are loving the game and the concept, and have been giving us much-needed support for the game.

Long.. few years.. of a break..

BIG news!!

The game is now completely modifiable, similar to how mm2 works.. Basically, we have a file like an INFO file with a basename and other details like car description and car name, etc. With that, the car model is in .obj format, needing some specific names for some objects that the game uses (WHL_0, WHL_1, WHL_2, WHL_3, HL_0, HL_1, TL_0, TL_1, etc). The game loads the vehicles into the game perfectly and loads their models. You can have as many cars as your heart desires!

Some more updates. Weather works, time of day works. Most of the races are in. Multiplayer is started with some game modes including capture the flag. For single player, we're going to have stunts for bonus points to unlock some vehicles.

I found old files from the original project and modified them for the current use.
