So you think every single bus on the planet has been converted from real life in to .ar (MM2) form? You're very mistaken. No-one will make buses for you. We're people too you know. However you can make your own, follow this tutorial to get you started.

Lol Bus modelling after this long?

Nice thought Jim BUT most Bus enthusiasts from mm2c have taken a large step away from MM2 and have since moved to the wonderful world of OMSI.

I don't see why you couldn't learn to model them yourself and with some practice you could create great things.

I myself made a couple of buses including an E300/E200 ( I never decided what it was in the end Laughing ) an MK3 Metrobus ( which doesn't exist but it was fun to see what I could come up with )

And a PP2 Dart ( despite there being a much better modelled one by Man1333 )

The tools are at your fingertips and the resources are available here on the mm2c forums.

Look and thou shalt find Wink

Theres 2 that have been released that I can think of, both by Olympianman -

W+D Optare Spectra
W+D Ikarus Citibus

You'll have to find the download links yourself though...its not hard.

There's also a DAF Palatine in W+D livery but is not due for release.

Now get searching!

This be true. The game itself has been great. I mean OMSI doesn't even feature multiplayer. Neutral That's why I'd never buy it.

There's 2 huge things that stop OMSI becoming the next mm2 ( in a bus driving fashion anyway ).

1. Multiplayer
2. OMSI simply isn't coded in such a way that it runs at an optimized frame rate for a person's computer.

I mean come on, I've got a 1GB DX11 card, With 8GB Ram and a 3GHZ Quad Core CPU and only get 20-30fps out of it?

Yet On Crysis 2 I can hit anywhere from 90-120FPS depending on what's happening on screen.

I second the notion that perhaps they should have sold it at half the price it currently retails for ( considering the serious FPS issues it has, and lack of Multiplayer ) aswell as the silly "you can only activate 3 times" rule so that when you use them up you have to request activations to be reset in order to continue using a product you paid for.

For an early release of a game, you're expecting perfection - I'm repeating myself here. You're comparing graphical abilities against a game with millions of dollars in budgeting, hundreds of people working on it, and backed by the industry. As for multiplayer, on the OMSI website they say multiplayer may come in future versions.

Yet you want the price dropped because it currently doesn't meet your expectations? How do you expect the guys to continue development if they've got no money coming in?

Think people, it might hurt at first, but it might get you somewhere.

I'm not saying I want the price dropped just because of that, there are many issues people are having but both the author's don't seem too concerned to fix, I know they are a 2 man band so to speak but heck, they're making an awful lot of money from it and as it's an investment they should be working to iron out all of the bugs.

Now, I AM happy with what they've done and I think they've done a brilliant job of it, But the small bugs are an annoyance of course Wink

Perhaps in the near future they'll consider working on the exe and the corresponding dll's to increase the performance, I'm fairly happy with just using the addon maps to be honest, I can always set the cpu priority to high or very high when using the main map Razz

They're not doing much at the moment because they're working on a university degree which they already delayed to finish the game Wink
