I've ordered mine, have you?

I've been waiting on this bad boy for some time, now it's finally been released. 'Tis the largest Lego Technic set ever with 2,048 pieces and measures ~56cm long, ~20cm wide, and ~28cm high and weighs in at 2kg (without batteries). Mr. Green

I've ordered it from USA, saved a good amount of money there thanks to the exchange rate (plus everything is cheaper there). I'll let y'all know when it's arrived, and provide some photos of this beast! (hopefully less than 2 weeks from now).

Further reading.

Good pun! Wink

This afternoon I constructed a database of my Lego sets based off of the large container I keep my instructions in.

Long story short, I've 149 sets, totalling 26,799 bricks, with 202 minifigures.

There are plenty more actual bricks and minifigures due to coming across sets and assorted containers of Lego at garage/yard sales and the like. If they're in good condition, I typically grab 'em. Not too bad of a collection thus far, looking forward to adding the Unimog. Wink

Take a look if you're interested (yes, I have a few models twice), I used Brickset to gather the details.

Bam, arrived yesterday. I spent ~4 hours constructing it last night, almost finished the chassis - It's huge! Completed 2 of the 5 instruction books .. Should be done this afternoon, photos to come .. Smile

They are 84, 84, 84, 60 and 42, totalling 354 pages. There are 113 steps for the chassis, 53 for the cab, 13 for the bed, 59 for the crane, and 61 for the winch (299 total). These are just the main steps, there are a lot more sub-steps and sub-sub-steps .. Basically, there's a lot of instructions!

At your posting time .. I wish, work takes priority. Wink

I have just completed construction, ~7.5 hours of total build time. Mr. Green

Cab tips forward revealing the four cylinder engine.

The 4 wheel drive system and suspension is amazing, got flex?
(Bonus points if you've watched The Wire)

With my other 2 large sets that are currently built, the Motorised Excavator and Crane Truck.

To put the size of it into perspective, my ifoon.

Shout out to topbob, my state-side proxy. <3
